My first-ever gunpla build is of a HG 1/144 Lighting Z Gundam from the Build Fighters series. It was the readily available kit near my location and didn’t want to buy a pricey kit yet.

Sony a6000 Flash Bounce Card

Are you a proud owner of a Sony a6000? Have you ever used its on-camera flash and didn’t quite like the results? There are ways to minimize the direct on-camera effects. Because of the a6000’s on-camera flash design, one can pull the flash head back and let it point towards the ceiling. The other method is by using a Sony a6000 Flash Bounce Card. I got one from Amazon and have been pretty satisfied with the results.

Olive-backed Sunbird

Let’s have a change of pace and look at some bird photography.

The following is a cropped image of a much larger photo which had a lot going on in the frame. This is also one of the first few shots of mother nature with my Canon FDn 135mm F2.8. I’m loving this lens!

The olive-backed sunbird (Cinnyris jugularis), also known as the yellow-bellied sunbird, is a species of sunbird found from Southern Asia to Australia.

Common names for this bird include “tamsi” in the Philippines.
